  1. MMSE = Mini Mental State Examination. AD = Alzheimer’s disease pathology defined by CSF Aβ42/Aβ40-ratio. AD negative and AD positive patients are defined by Aβ42/Aβ40-ratio above or below 0.09 respectively. Improved = postoperative iNPH scale score increase of at least 5 points. P-values are given for comparisons of AD negative vs. AD positive patients.
