Serial images of the concentration of the near-infrared fluorescent tracer Cy5.5 in the head region (ROI) after intravenous injection in wild-type and Abcg2-KOmice. Cy5.5 free dye (~78 μg in 200 μL saline) was injected i.v. and mice were repeatedly imaged at 2, 4, 6 and 8 h using the eXplore Optix 670. The images shown were analyzed using ART Optix Optiview software and are representative of 4 animals per group.
